在阴极保护设计中，保护电流密度、阳极类型、阳极布置方法和阴极保护电源设备的容量等参数取值会直接影响到阴极保护工程的应用效果、项目成本等问题。为此可以通过馈电试验的方法为设计提供依据和必要的保护参数，以便制定出科学、有效、安全、经济的阴极保护设计方案。常规的恒电位仪相对笨重不便于现场临时使用，MHS-BX型便携式恒电位仪便提供现场馈电试验时所需的各项功能，在阴极保护设计中带来便利性与数据准确性。该设备用于设备维修时的临时设备、馈电试验、教学样机等。
