适用于IIB/IIC级T1-T6组爆炸性混合物场所，作为设备的进出线连接或钢管布线弯曲难度较大的场所连接之用。防爆挠性连接管由活接头与连接管组成：连接管由内管与护套组成，两端为金属螺纹，管体部分分为金属软管，外层夹布橡胶和增强尼龙软管护套以及夹层管三种形式组成;活接头一般由不锈钢制作，或碳素钢电镀处理。
